dr cellmerSlawomir Cellmer was born on 11 May 1969 in Rypin. He graduated in 1993 from the Faculty of Geodesy and Land Management at Agricultural and Technical Academy in Olsztyn. In 1993-1994 he worked at the Regional Surveying and Cartographic Company (OPGK) in Olsztyn as a surveyor. Since 1994, he has worked at the Academy of Agriculture and Technology, which was transformed in 1999 into the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, successively at the following positions: assistant in the years 1994-2002, assistant professor in the years 2002-2013 and associate professor from 2013. He received his Ph.D. degree in technical sciences in 2002 based on a dissertation: "Determination of spatial displacements based on GPS observations with the use of robust estimation". In 2013, he was awarded the degree of doctor habilitated based on his scientific achievements and thesis in the form of a series of publications entitled: " New strategy of GNSS carrier phase observations processing ". In his research, he focuses on the improvement of algorithms for real-time precise satellite positioning. He has been on research internships in Greece and Canada. He actively participated in many international scientific conferences. He is the author of over 50 publications on engineering surveying and GNSS data processing. Sławomir Cellmer led three projects funded by the National Science Centre (NCN) and was a contractor in projects funded by the European Space Agency (ESA), NCN, and European Commission. He received three UWM Rector's awards for his activities: one for organization achievements in 2005 and two for scientific achievements, in 2011 and 2012.
