PhD. Eng. In 2006 Paweł Hanus obtained the doctoral degree, while in 2014 he obtained the post-doctoral degree. His research interests include real estate cadastre, real estate management, regulation of real estate legal status, and spatial planning.

PhD. Eng. Paweł Hanus is the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Mining Surveying and Environmental Engineering at AGH in Krakow.

Since 2018, he has been a member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography and since 2014 a member of the team for state powers in the field of geodesy and Cartography.

In the current term of office, he is a member of the Geodesy Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the chairman of the Geospatial Engineering Section of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

He is a member of FIG (International Federation of Surveyors) where he is part of the commission 8 - Spatial planning and development, and since 2012 also the Real Estate Association.

PhD. Eng. Paweł Hanus is the author or co-author of over 80 original scientific papers published in peer-reviewed national and international journals, including 6 monographs.
